Diagnosis
Skull, short, broad and shallow with elongated orbit; frontal bifurcates strongly around external naris; pineal opening exposed as a narrow slit; the parietals extend forward between frontals, excluding posterior-half of the latter from midline; foramen incisivum present on premaxillae; pterygoids meet with a long median suture leaving a small interpterygoid vacuity; paroccipital process narrow and slender, dipping at an angle of 60ΓΈ; articular not fused with surangular; teeth small. highly recurved, slightly compressed, undifferentiated. and show flutings on lingual side; premaxillary teeth 8, maxillary teeth 38+. and dentary teeth 46+; cervical centra strongly binocular-shaped. platycoelous with distinctive lateral ridges
