Abstract
After seeing your plesiosaur web site, there are another couple of specimens you may be able to add. There is an incomplete, but uncrushed, mandible labelled 'Pliosaurus ferox ' [sic] in a display case within the department of Earth Sciences at the university of Liverpool. It, along with a femur and 3 teeth, appears to be unnumbered, but MAY have an acquisition number via Nation Museums and Art Galleries, Merseyside, who I think technically own the specimens. I know that these specimens were looked at several years ago by a postgraduate at ???Leicester. I also know that 10 years ago there was a complete pliosaur limb, well preserved, in the geology department of Exeter University. As that department no longer exists, it could be: in the geography Dept there, in Exeter Museum or possibly at Cambourne School of Mines (now part of Exeter!).
