Abstract
The partial remains of a small plesiosaur from the Nottinghamshire Lias in the Natural History Museum at Wollaton Hall, Nottingham are described. The proportions and sequence of the cervical vertebral centra suggest that it is an early elasmosaur. More detailed identification is problematic because of the limited material available.
